Daily reasons to quit your job and go your own way
Because your side hustle won’t stand a chance as long as it remains a side hustle
You start a side hustle. You cover your startup costs from your salary, you try out your ideas, you find out which ones work, whether people are interested, whether they’ll give you money.
Your side hustle shows signs of life. You work on it evenings and weekends, you think about it on your commute and on your lunch break. You start making some money. Not enough to live on, but enough to prove that your idea works. You’re excited. You’re exhausted.
It’s time to choose.
You can keep your job, and your side hustle will remain a side hustle. It may go on bringing in a little extra money. Or it may die, because it’s unsustainable as a side hustle, too much work to manage along with a full-time job.
Or you can quit your job, and give your side hustle a chance to live. You’ll be taking a risk. You don’t know whether your side hustle will ever bring in enough money to live on. If you don’t quit your job, you’ll never know.
