When you meet people, they ask you about your job.

You’d like to talk about the book you’re writing.

You’d like to talk about the friends you’re missing.

You’d like to talk about the globes you’re carving.

You’d like to talk about the dreams you’re pursuing.

Instead, you tell them about your job.

It makes you sound petty. It makes you sound bitter. It makes you sound dull.

Your job is the least interesting thing about you.
