You’ve noticed you’re not the only one.

When you meet someone at a party on a Saturday night, you ask them what they do, and they tell you about their work. They sigh, they stare down at the floor, and they say things like: “Well, you know, it’s not so bad.”

Then you ask them what else they do, and they tell you about their true work. Their eyes light up, their voice comes alive, and they say things like: “I’ve always loved it, it’s what I’ve always wanted to do.”
