Because you can’t get a job without taking an intelligence test

If you try to find a better job, sooner or later, you’re bound to be asked to take an intelligence test.

These tests assume that intelligence is one-dimensional, and can be captured in a single test score.

These tests assume that intelligence is all about logic, linguistics and mathematical manipulations, and that other kinds of intelligence such as perceptivity, creativity and empathy don’t matter.

The only thing these intelligence tests prove is how lacking the employers who use them are in perceptivity, creativity and empathy.
