Because you’re tired of being told that work gives you purpose

Work gives you purpose.

So say the professors… whose work involves expanding knowledge and passing it on.

So say the journalists… whose work involves communicating information and expressing opinions.

So say the politicians… whose work involves formulating policies and finding consensus.

Their work may give them purpose.

Your work might not give you purpose.

Maybe if they had to do the kind of work the rest of us do, they, like us, would be forced to find their purpose in their lives outside of their work.
