Because even when your boss is in the wrong, it’s you who’s in the wrong

One day, your boss does something so obnoxious that you can’t hold your tongue any longer.

You call her on it.

She’s so obviously in the wrong that she has no choice, it seems, but to admit that she’s in the wrong, and apologize.

Instead, your boss rebukes you severely, for the manner in which you spoke.

You apologize.

She never addresses your objection to her obnoxious behaviour.

No matter what she does, it’s always you who’s in the wrong.
