James McKinven quit his marketing job to set up as a freelance podcast editor at PodPanda as well as bootstrap several other indie businesses.

He puts out two podcasts of his own, Indie Bites & No More Mondays, and he has a podcasting course called 2 Hour Podcast, and he hand-crafts leather wallets at the Whitstable Craft Co.

James talks openly about what happens when you take on too much work and too much debt, as well as the joys of working independently.
