Notes

2 February 2022

Cali O’Connor quit a job in engineering to travel, then later quit another job in engineering to travel again.

After that second career break, she shifted to living in Mexico and working in her own business, Travel Shifters.

Our conversation digs deep on what it’s like to be bored at work, how to survive a toxic workplace, how to take a career break, and why it’s so hard to make positive changes in your work life.

You can connect with Cali on Instagram @thetravelshifters or through the Travel Shifters web site.

Check out her Travel Possibilities podcast, including the episode I mentioned where Cali tells her own story: My Career Break Story.
